I remember the time I was working for an agency in London and someone asked me for the “P-H-P on the P-P-C A-S-A-P”.

I had no idea what they were talking about. All I knew is that they wanted something rather quickly, so replied “O-K”.

It was normal to speak this way within the office, but I must admit to being quite confused. Imagine my horror when I started overhearing staff on the phone to clients using these acronyms. Heck, if I was confused, what would the clients be thinking?!

Is there any point to using complicated acronyms? Not really. Does it make you sound intelligent? Definitely not. In fact the true mark of intelligence is the ability to convert complicated pieces of information into an easily digestible format.

Anyone can make the simple complicated. But it’s another thing to make the complicated simple.

The point I wish to make is that you must THINK SIMPLE when it comes to your business. It comes down to making things easy for your customers.

Make it easy for your customers to know you.

Make it easy for your customers to buy from you.

Make it easy for your customers to recommend you to others.

Make it easy for your customers to give you feedback.

Think simple.

Think. Simple.
