When a customer visits your website, what do you want to have happen?

Put simply, your website MUST have a call-to-action.

Your website is a portal/channel/avenue for your customers. And you need them to take action once they have landed there. Let’s face it, you’ve probably gone through a lot of effort to actually get them to your site, now you need them to do something. After all, a new visitor to your site is a potential lead. Don’t let it go to waste.

When a customer arrives at your site, you must know what you want them to do. Do you want them to:

  • pick up the phone?
  • send you an email?
  • download your brochure?
  • buy something?
  • give you their contact details?
  • walk into your store?

Regardless of how amazing the design and usability of your site is, you must have a call-to-action, otherwise you’re wasting your time.
